About

Carolyn Leigh is an expert nutritionist who practises from her two clinics that are located in Harley Street, London, and Poole, Dorset. Before opening her two clinics, Carolyn attended the University of West London for 4 years, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Nutritional Medicine.

Carolyn is a leading clinical nutritionist, and is acknowledged for her specialist knowledge and understanding with regards to the complex relationships between disease, nutrition and chronic health issues. She uses this knowledge to find links between medical conditions or nutritional imbalances/deficiencies, and then diagnose the problems that the patient is experiencing. Because of her specialist, high quality and professional expertise, many GP’s have recommended her treatments when a specialist is required outside of the NHS, or for conditions that are outside of their remit.

As well as being a leading nutritional practitioner, she also contributes regular articles to prestigious health magazine, Men’s Health, and the London Metro. She has not only contributed to written articles, but has also appeared in Chanel 5’s show Bikini Body the Truth about Diets, on BBC Radio Solent & on Wave 105 radio. Carolyn is extremely passionate about her work, and has given seminars on the ‘benefits of healthy eating’ both in the UK and Switzerland.

She is a proud member of BANT (British Association of Nutritional Therapists), is a registered member of the Professional Standards Authority, the government backed CNHC (Complimentary Health Care Council), and is fully CRB (Criminal Records Bureaux) checked.

It was after contracting a viral infection herself that Carolyn first ventured into the world of Nutritional Medicine. Infection attacked her heart and her nervous system, and this caused Dilated Cardiomyopathy and M.E. The medicine that was prescribed to her by her GP did not herald any improvement; this is when she decided to research different approaches that might help with her recovery. Thanks to her own research and the help of a professional Nutritionist who worked on Harley Street, she recovered and began studying the degree that led her to qualify as a professional nutritionist herself.

Because of her own personal experience, determination and sheer passion for nutritional medicine and treatments, Carolyn has become one of the UK’s leading nutritionists. For more information about the clinic and nutritional treatments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by calling 0800 255 0482.
